“Internship assistance” can mean many things. It may mean a formal placement with a hotel, a list of contacts, a short observational visit or support finding your own role. Ask what the college actually manages and what responsibility remains with the student.

Ask what the role will be

Find out whether students rotate through departments or stay in one role, what the normal duration is, and which shifts or operating areas are involved. A specific answer is more useful than a list of famous hotel names. Ask whether the experience matches the course outcomes you were shown.

Ask who supervises learning

Good workplace learning needs a point of contact, clear expectations and a way to discuss problems. Ask how attendance, performance and student welfare are handled. Also ask what happens if the role, accommodation or working conditions do not match what was promised.

Turn experience into evidence

Keep a record of tasks, feedback and examples of service or operational problems you helped solve. Use the experience to decide which department fits you, which skills need work and which questions to ask at your next interview. The best internship result is not only a certificate; it is better judgment.
